The SUST Admission Circular 2025-2026 is published on the official website. You can find it at admission.sust.edu.bd. The application starts on 8 December 2025. The last date is 25 December 2025.
The application is 100% online. There is no paper form. You must apply through the official website only.
Application Fee:
- A Unit (Science): 1,250 Tk.
- A Unit (Science + Architecture): 1,400 Tk.
- B Unit (Science, Humanities, Business): 1,200 Tk.
- Both Units: If you apply for both A and B units, you must pay for each one separately.
Payment Methods:
You can pay using bKash, Rocket, Nagad, or other methods shown on the website. The website will show the total amount after you select your unit.
Admission Test Date: 13 & 14 January 2026.
Test Centers:
- Main Center: SUST campus, Sylhet.
- Other Centers: Selected educational institutions in Sylhet and Dhaka.

Admission Test Schedule
The admission test for SUST Admission 2025-2026 will be held on two days: 13 January and 14 January 2026.

Application Eligibility

1. Bangladeshi Students (SSC & HSC):
For A Unit (Science Group):
- You need SSC/equivalent (2022 or 2023) AND HSC/equivalent (2024 or 2025).
- You must be from the Science group.
- GPA Requirement: Total GPA 6.5 in SSC + HSC (with minimum 3.0 in each exam).
- Math Requirement: You need minimum GPA 3.0 in HSC Math (or C Grade in A Level).
- Architecture: No separate GPA mentioned, but requires passing the drawing test.
For B Unit (All Groups):
- You need SSC (2022 or 2023) AND HSC (2024 or 2025).
- Students from Science, Humanities, and Business can apply.
- GPA Requirement: Total GPA 6.0 in SSC + HSC (with minimum 3.0 in each exam).
2. English Medium (GCE O & A Level):
- O Level: Minimum 5 subjects passed. You need at least B grade in 2 subjects.
- A Level: Minimum 3 subjects passed. You need at least B grade in 1 subject.

3. Foreign Students:
- You need to submit documents for assessment.

How to Apply?
The process is simple. Follow these steps on admission.sust.edu.bd:
- Go to admission.sust.edu.bd.
- Click on the “Sign Up” button.
- Type your SSC Roll, Board, Year and HSC Roll, Board, Year.
- Click “Sign Up”. You will get a User ID & Password on your mobile phone.
- Log in with that User ID & Password.
- Fill out the form carefully. Add your personal info and select quota (if any).
- Upload your photo. (Size: 300×400 pixels. File size: Less than 100 KB).
- Select your Unit (A Unit, B Unit, or Both).
- The website will show the amount.
- Pay the fee.
- After payment, you will get your Roll Number within 24 hours.
- Download and Print the application form. Keep it safe.
Important Tips:
- Do not lose your User ID & Password. You need it for the admit card and results.
- If you want to apply for both units, you must fill out two forms and pay twice.
- Architecture students must select Group A2 (Science + Architecture).
- You cannot change anything after the final submission. Be careful!
Admit Card Download
Once your payment is successful, you can download the admit card later. Use your User ID & Password on the website admission.sust.edu.bd to Download the SUST Admit Card 2026.
- When: Available from January 10, 2026.
- Print: You must print 2 copies of the Admit Card on A4 offset paper (Color print).
- Exam Day: You must bring the 2 printed Admit Cards to the exam hall.
Marks Distribution
The exam has 80 MCQ questions. The time is 90 minutes.
- Negative Marking: Generally 0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.

Subject Choice

- Give a preference list of subjects.
- Merit Rule: Subjects are given based on your Merit Position + Your Choice. Higher merit students get their first choice.

After a few days, the Subject Choice Result is published.
